Travel is one of the best things I think anyone can ever do in their lives and certainly one of the best things you can do for your children. The cultures you see, the people you meet, the sites you see and the life experiences you get. Now that really is priceless. But where do you go? What do you do?

I’ve had a very fortunate life, in that I travelled extensively when I was young and since then too. My father worked for a large American engineering firm, so we moved a lot. I remember one time that we’d moved 3 or 4 times in a 24 month period! Hectic. I’m not saying this was brilliant either, but it did let me have experiences that I would never have done before. It gave me a certain life experience that today I’m able to use in my business, I’m not restricted with my thinking. I can clearly remember how different the people in Los Angeles are compared to the people in Houston, or even in my home country of South Africa. The differences between people that live in Johannesburg compared to Durban is immense. But it’s only by visiting different parts of the country or the world that you can ever learn to appreciate this.

Part of my blog is dedicated to documenting some of these experiences and also finding out about possible trips that my family and I, and my
readers would love of go on too.

So check out the travel category and see what tickles your fancy.
